City of Glass by Cassandra Clare

Today I finished reading the City of Glass. I enjoyed it very much. This is the third book of The Mortal Instruments series. The other books in the series are City of Ashes and City of Bones. This series is full of werewolves, vampires and Shadowhunters - my favorite kind of books!

Merlin's Keep - Madeline Brent

I would have finished this book sooner but I couldn't get much reading done in the hospital. There was so much down time at the hospital when Mom was out of it that I could of read but I couldn't stop holding her hand in case she needed me. However, once she told me to stop holding her hand because I was making her too hot I got some reading done.

This is book is another historical romance. I really enjoyed the story line as well. Other than history and romance it also includes a bit of mystical magic. It was a very interesting read with several twists.

StormSwift - Madeline Brent

Just finished reading another book - Yea Me! I really really liked this book. It is a historical romance with a very good story line. I think I need to read some more books by Madeline Brent. I am not sure what my next book will be, but I will find one soon.

The Long Masquerade by Madeline Brent

This is another book recommended by mom. I found it to be a nice story that kept my attention. It was a light romance with a nice interesting story. I actually would have liked a bit more romance in the book, but it was still good. I am easy to please. I read it in two days.

Yummy Recipes

I finished going through the Food Nanny Rescues Dinner and found that most of the recipes looked delicious and were things that my family would actually eat. Too many cook books out there have weird recipes that my family just won't eat if I make. I borrowed this book from the library and with it coming due I think this is one that I will go out and buy. I liked the concept of the book and can't wait to try many of the recipes.

The Food Nanny Rescues Dinner

I saw this book advertised and put it on hold at the library. It finally came in so this is my next book to read - I was hoping to jump into something romantic but that will have to wait. It looks like it is full of delicious recipes that I can't wait to try out.

Peony In Love - Finished

Well I finally finished Peony in love. This took me longer to read them then usual. The last book I read was Hunger Games and the book moved so quickly and I was glued to it. I finished that one in a day and a half. This one took me almost a week. It was a good book and I am glad that my Mom recommended it to me. However, it moved a little too slowly for me and I almost didn't finish it. I just couldn't figure out how it could have a happy ending - and I like happy endings. I never look forward into a book so I made Mom tell me a few things that happened to ensure the happy ending would be there for me. So I finished it last night (at 1:30 in the morning). I did enjoy learning about the different culture and it was inciteful, but I did find myself skipping paragraphs that were pure description of the area. Now what will my next book be??

Hunger Games

Today is a nice rainy day. The perfect day to stay in and read a good book. However, I just spent the last day and a half reading Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Thanks Suzanne for writing such a great book. I also want to thank Sarah for letting me borrow it. I LOVED this book. Here is a link to the book: http://www.suzannecollinsbooks.com/the_hunger_games_69765.htm

If you have read it let me know what you think of it. If not go grab it and read it.
